The open cellars of the canton of Vaud – the 4th & 5th september 2021
The open cellars of the canton of Vaud are finally back, in their original format. On the weekend of September 4 and 5, several hundred winegrowers will open their doors in the six wine-producing regions of the canton, and particularly in the La Côte region.
This long-awaited weekend is an opportunity to discover or rediscover the 2020 vintage and to share with the Vaudois winegrowers about this very special year. A moment of relaxation, where conviviality and discoveries will be made throughout the canton!
All the regions have reserved animations for you, and you will also find something to eat at any time. Your wine tastings will be accompanied by Gruyère AOP, Etivaz AOP, apple juice and products from the Artisan bakers, for a weekend that is 100% Vaudois!
It is not necessary to reserve or buy your “Caves Ouvertes” passport in advance. On the day of the event, you simply buy your 15 CHF tasting glass at the first winegrower you visit.
Don’t worry for those who are a little bit more adventurous, you will also receive a “Caves Ouvertes” bracelet that is valid for the whole weekend and at all participating winegrowers!
